“The Trinitarian Gospel” – Trinity Sunday, A+D 2020

A medieval pictogram which teaches the orthodox doctrine of the Trinity: the Father (Pater) is neither the Son (Filius) nor the Spirit (Spiritus), etc., yet each of the three persons is God (Deus).

Almighty and everlasting God, who hast given unto us, Thy servants, grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity and in the power of the Divine Majesty to worship the Unity, we beseech Thee that Thou wouldst keep us steadfast in this faith and evermore defend us from all adversities; who livest and reignest, ever one God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, world without end. Amen.

Old Testament:  Isaiah 6:1-7
Epistle:  Romans 11:33-36
Gospel:  John 3:1-17
