2019-2020 Classroom Supply Lists

*** NEW for 2019-2020 School Year: TLS will supply preassembled STAR Binders to all K-8 students ***

  • If possible, please bring supplies to TLS on Registration Day, Thursday, August 8 (or on Late Registration Day on Thursday, August 15) or Back to School Night, Wednesday, August 21.
  • ESV Bibles will be available for $10 (our cost, no tax) in the Undercroft on Registration Day. Students are now also free to use the AV/KJV and NKJV as well.

Pre-School/Pre-Kindergarten

  • 1 backpack (do not bring to class until the first day of school)

  • 1 pack Crayola markers (8-count or more)
  • 1 pack Crayola crayons(regular size; up to 24-count)
  • 3 packs 8-count Crayola® colored pencils
  • 1 pair Fiskars student scissors
  • 2-4 Pink Pearl-type erasers
  • 10 or more glue sticks (Elmer’s-purple glue)
  • 4 wide-ruled composition books
  • 1 inexpensive artist’s drawing pad of paper
  • 1 clear non-bendable plastic 12″ ruler
  • 2 pocket folders, one red and one blue (no prongs; sturdy; not for STAR binder)
  • 1 bottle refill-size hand sanitizer
  • 3-4 boxes of facial tissues

1st/2nd Grades

  • 1 SMALL plastic supply box

3rd/4th Grades

  • 1 large plastic milk crate to serve as cubby
  • 1 large school storage box (approximately 5” by 8”)
  • 1 box, 24 ct., Crayola crayons
  • 1 box, 12 ct., Crayola colored pencils (this one is separate from the art class.)
  • 48 Ticonderoga #2 yellow pencils (no mechanical pencils please); these pencils will be pooled— we always run out of pencils!
  • 2 pink erasers
  • 1 pair of student scissors
  • 1 compass (get a good one that doesn’t slip)
  • 3 grading pens (any color— to be given to Mrs. Hite)
  • 3 glue sticks— separate from those for art class; these will be pooled.
  • 1 blue composition notebook (wide ruled)

5th-8th Grades

Nota Bene: Most Art supplies will be pooled and used by all grade levels. Beginning on Registration Day (August 8) a board with supply requests may be posted (if need be). You will be asked to choose one or more colored tags from the “Art Palette” board located in the Undercroft; please purchase and bring Art Palette items to TLS by Friday, September 13.
